going on this mission trip is making me think what is my purpose if im not good with kids or even like them that much i dont play in the band and from what i got from the meetings were not doing 1 to 1 evangelism im just along for the trip waiting to do whatever not fluently speaking spanish is also another barrier but all things aside i know im going to be used by god sowing any sort of seed in not just peru but anywhere is the only the only thing i can do if god sees to it that it grows and bears much fruit so be it but as for my mentality and prep for going there is as simple as the concept of sowing seeds i also know god isnt limited to children's ministry and the worship team and im just exciting to see what gods going to to do through me and in me and not just me but anyone else who doesnt really know where they belong..

MACK good thoughts. On last year's trip I wasn't in the band; I certainly had no confidence about evangelizing strangers like I do now; and I hadn't been involved in many leadership activities up to that point. It was still awesome though...I left Peru never being 100% sure what my exact purpose on the trip had been (several of us did, actually). Obviously God spoke to us in various ways about our lives, but didn't show all of us why he had brought us there. Like you, we had to just have faith that he had sown seeds through us. Maybe that answer sounds really Sunday-schoolish ("oh, don't worry, you sowed seeds") but it really is true. So don't stress about this summer...God willl use you, because I know you're really seeking to serve him and that you're totally willing.

Dont worry about anything Mack! cuz God will help and and always be there for you. No need to get all fed up about not really knowing spanish or being in the band. i for sure 100% know that God will help every step of the way and nothing is impossible for Him. U just need to trust Him and he will guide u. If He can take care of the BIG things in life, he can for sure take care of the little ones we might be going through. so dont worry about anything ok? cuz u got God and the rest of the team on ur side ;)
